The First 6 Months of 2015

....I just wanted to share with you all that the first 6 months of 2015 were not at all what I was expecting...

It actually started two weeks before Christmas when my Doctors started experimenting with my medication levels so as a result I was a bit of a zombie over the Christmas holidays until I said "ENOUGH" and weaned myself back down to more manageable doses for myself AND my husband/children.

But as the new year rang in I did not realise I was walking into 6 months (and counting) of situations of grief.  Sure there have been great things happen too. I mean seriously it seems like an absolute miracle that I finished my manuscript during this time AND got it published....HURRAH!!

But it also means I have been very absent on the blogging front but as active as ever on Facebook at Just Ali.

I'm still dedicated to continuing with my Ahead of Her Time series I started, which generated a lot of interest with you all. I have found myself in a place though where I can only seem to fit in two things, with my health the way it is; my children/family/home life AND .......one other thing I absolutely have to be working on, which at the moment is The Heroes of the Ashes Book 2: The End of Life As You Know It & The Ache Inside Part II.

As I learn more and more about being kind to myself I have tried to slip in small amounts of other things such as a little bit of scrapbooking, or some walks, but success has been limited.  I just can no longer multi task on a major level like I used to. At least not for the foreseeable future....

But I hope you do not read this as a tale of woe. It is more of a touching base type post.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased, read and reviewed my book so far. Thank you to my Beta Readers, you know who you are. I couldn't do this next step with out you, or continue on with 'the plan' as we have hatched it.

If you haven't yet read The Heroes of the Ashes Book One: The Ache Inside Part I you can purchase it here from Amazon (Kindle) or at iBooks.

I also have a new Amazon Author page which you can visit here.

If like me you struggle with a chronic illness or chronic pain; hang in there. There are many wonderful moments amongst the pain and it is those wonderful moments that keep us going.

This is a post of hope.

Despite the year I wasn't expecting I will get TWO books published this year.

And my family is happy & loved. :-)
